CAMPYLOBACTER in chicken carcasses

REGULATION 2073: 2005 requires a mandatory analysis to be carried out for Campylobacter spp. on chicken carcasses, respecting the established frequencies.

Sampling

Samples are taken during consecutive sampling sessions, based on the standards and sampling frequency indicated in the Regulations.

Analysis

A quantitative analysis of Campylobacter spp is foreseen according to the EN ISO 10272-2 analysis method (foreseen by the legislation) and the limits imposed by law.
