MATERIALS IN CONTACT WITH FOOD ANALYSIS

Regulation (EC) 1935/2004 Article 3 specifies that the materials and articles in contact with food (MOCA) shall be manufactured so that, under normal or foreseeable conditions of use, do not transfer to food in quantities which could constitute a danger to human health, lead to an unacceptable change in the composition of food or even cause a deterioration in their organoleptic characteristics.

The analyzes provide the necessary documentation for the completion of the Declaration of Conformity, which must necessarily accompany MOCA throughout the food chain.
