ANALYSIS Of HONEY

The LEOCHIMICA LABORATORIES are accredited by ACCREDIA for the qualitative and quantitative melissopalinological analysis of honey and derivatives. ALS Italia is the only private laboratory in Italy to be accredited by ACCREDIA for melissopalinological analysis and is the first private laboratory in Italy for the number of tests accredited on honey. This goal attests the constant commitment of ALS Italia in continuous development to offer the best services to the client, with professionalism and specialization.

Our laboratories offer a series of analysis services, including:

HONEY (250 g sample)
Basic Qualitative Analysis (ex: HMF, Diastase, etc)
Multiresidual Analysis Antibiotics
Pesticide / Acaricide analysis
Melissopalinological Orientation Analysis
Qualitative Melissopalinological Analysis
Sugar analysis
Sugar Adulteration Screening
POLLEN (100 g sample)
Pesticide analysis
BEESWAX (200 g sample)
Acaricidal analysis

HONEY

Multiresidual Analysis Antibiotics
Chemical analysis that allows to detect the presence of, for example, sulfonamides, tetracyclines and tylosin and other classes of antibiotics.

Pesticide / Acaricide analysis
Chemical analysis that detects the presence of active ingredients in the most widespread treatments in agriculture and beekeeping: Acrinatrin, Amitraz and Metabolites, Bromopropylate, Cimiazole, Clorfenvinfos, Cumafos, Fluvalinate, Rotenone, Tetradifon.

Melissopalinological Orientation Analysis
Microscopic analysis consisting in the study of honey sediment in order to obtain a botanical indication of the product. In the test report are reported the pollen types identified and divided by frequency classes and the sensory sensory analysis to confirm what was found at the microscopic level. Photographic documentation and geographical indication of honey are not reported. The analysis is carried out only on honey samples declared Italian.

Qualitative Melissopalinological Analysis
Microscopic analysis of honey sediment that - through the recognition of pollen grains, the study of their relative frequency and the presence of other microscopic elements - allows to trace the botanical and geographical origin of the honey in question. The list is shown in the test report complete of the identified pollen spectrum, the presence of any indicators of honeydew, yeasts, carbonaceous particles and other elements of the sediment, the photographic documentation of the analyzed sample and the descriptive sensory analysis.

Sugar analysis
Chemical analysis that detects the amount of fructose, glucose, F / G ratio, F + G, sucrose, maltose.

Sugar Adulteration Screening
- Analysis with a combination of pollen (quantitative + qualitative) and analysis of sugars.
- NMR analysis
- Isotopic analysis

POLLEN
Pesticide analysis
Chemical analysis that allows the detection of the presence of the main active ingredients (over 200) dispersed in the environment and / or used in the treatment phase.

BEESWAX
Acaricidal analysis
Chemical analysis that allows to trace the presence of substances used in beekeeping and which, being lipophilic, have a great affinity with the wax matrix.

Nutritional analysis, analysis on contact materials, etc

Our Consulting Offices offer support in the sampling phase, verification and implementation services of self-control and traceability plans, consultancy in the preparation and verification of nutritional indications and labeling of products, support for the drafting of defensive memories related to administrative sanctions, assistance for the opening of samples, repetitions and review of analyzes at the relevant official bodies.

NUTRITIONAL TABLE: honey without the addition of other ingredients is not subject to the nutrition declaration (Annex V of EC Reg. No. 1169 (ANNEX V - FOODS WHICH NO REQUIREMENT OF THE NUTRITIONAL DECLARATION) item 1: 1. Products unprocessed which include only one ingredient or one category of ingredients). Any other addition of ingredients requires the nutritional declaration instead.
