Legionellosis is a lung disease caused by the Legionella bacteria, a microorganism that lurks in plumbing and conditioning systems and that can contaminate humans through inhalation of contaminated aerosols. Contamination from human beings to other human beings has never been found. It is therefore of fundamental importance the maintenance and the periodic control of the conditioning and water systems of both domestic and public structures such as offices, gyms, medical and dental offices, swimming pools, homes for the elderly, hospitals, schools and kindergartens, holiday residences, condominiums , hotels, etc., especially if there 

are faucets or air conditioning systems that are not used for a long time.
