OBLIGATION OF INDICATION OF THE PRODUCTION FACTORY OR PACKAGING

It is recalled that from April 5, 2018, the Legislative Decree 145/2017 became applicable "Discipline of mandatory indication on the label of the headquarters and address of the production plant or, if different, of packaging, in accordance with Article 5 of the Law 12 August 2016, n. 170 - 2015 European Delegation Law ".

This Legislative Decree applies to foodstuffs produced in Italy and intended for the Italian market and foodstuffs and aims to provide adequate and correct information on the traceability of products to both consumers and control bodies.
