Acrilammide new regulation

Please note that starting from 11 April 2018 the EC Regulation No. 2158/2017 has become applicable, establishing mitigation measures and reference levels for the reduction of the presence of acrylamide in food.

This regulation provides for production measures and selection of specific raw materials for the reduction of this substance in food and provides for maximum limits for a range of consumer foods, including potatoes and derivatives, bread and bakery products, cereal snacks, cereals for breakfast, coffee and coffee substitutes.
